Diagnostics of musculoskeletal pain in various locations of the body, and approaches to its effective treatment
Andrei Bourdeinyi and Olena PlotkinaThe medical practice and literature data show that conventional medical methods, such as pharmacology, surgery, physiotherapy, are usually used to treat the musculoskeletal pain, However, there are other approaches for the treatment of this kind of clinical pathology that are little known to medical doctors. Among them we would like to highlight the method of correction of so called microsubluxation. The term “microsubluxation” means slight misalignment of articular surfaces within joint. The clinical experience and review of literature show that it is actually quite common cause of musculoskeletal pain in patients with non-inflammatory joint and spinal diseases. Unfortunately, microsubluxation, as an etiological agent of this sort of disorder, is underestimated by health care providers due to little awareness of its existence. The purpose of this workshop is to familiarize conference participants, our colleagues with the practical aspects of this clinical pathology associated with microsubluxation. During the workshop, we are going to demonstrate relatively simple practical, and absolutely safe approaches to diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal pain, caused by it. It could be useful for any conference participant who is interested in the improvement of knowledge, skill, and practical implementation of the musculoskeletal pain relief and treatment. It is also important for those attendees who experiences such pain, and needs it to be relieved promptly right here, right now in the workshop room. Upon completion of this session, attendees will: 1) be aware of existence of not only the conventional but also alternative approaches to diagnosis and treatment of the musculoskeletal pain throughout the body; 2) be able to suspect the presence of causative factors of the musculoskeletal pain associated with misalignment of articular surfaces (microsubluxation) in various peripheral joints of the body; 3) make sure than these methods really work, and their use can lead to effective and quick relief of the musculoskeletal pain.
